An experienced professional linguist and freelance translator with 18 years experience in
various translation fields. I have a bilingual background as my mother is English and my
father is Arabic and have benefited from a bilingual education in the Middle East and UK.
I also lived in Paris for 8 years where I began my career as a translator.

I have been a freelance translator since 1987, working in various fields with a
specialization in scientific/pharmaceutical and literary translation as a result of my
scientific background and strong linguistic skills. I have translated a wide variety of
